BBGI Global Infrastructure plans to acquire a 25% interest in the Central Hospital (Center Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM)) from entities owned by Obrascón Huarte Lain, SA (OHL) in Canada.

Located in Montreal, the hospital PPP project originally consisted of the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of a new hospital facility including new buildings, parking and commercial retail areas. In operation since 2021, the hospital has 772 private patient rooms, 39 operating theatres and 415 examination rooms. The health complex serves over 1.7 million people in the region.

The purchase price for the investment is approximately CAD 88 million (US$ 71.30 million). The completion of this acquisition is subject to certain conditions.
