The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has launched a tender for the development and construction of two solar photovoltaic plants with a combined capacity of 100 MW.
BPDB seeks interested companies to finance and develop the two projects on a build-own-operate (BOO) scheme for 20 years concession period. The solar plants will be built in the districts of Chuadanga and Netrokona.
The bidders are only allowed to submit a single bid, either individually or as part of a consortium. Interested developers need to submit a qualification statement and a comprehensive offer with technical, commercial, financial and tariff proposals by August 7, 2019. The bidders are also expected to furnish bid security for an amount of US$250,000.
