The Ministry of Finance in Bangladesh has approved the proposal to built a bridge over the Meghna river on the Bhulta Araihazar-Banchharampur road. The bridge will facilitate a better connection with Dhaka, Brahmanbaria, and Indian state Agartala, via Araihazar and Banchharampur. The project is set to be implemented under the policy for Implementing PPP Project through Government-to-Government (G2G) Partnership. The project will be developed under the authorization of Bangladesh Bridges Authority.
