The Government of Mexico has provided a financing structure with access to US$388.1 million for Altán Redes.
The financing structure includes a US$161 million loan granted by the Mexican development bank (Bancomext), with the remaining financing coming from the suppliers (US$166.6 million), shareholders (US$50.5 million) and customers (US$10 million).
Altán Redes is a telecommunication company based in Mexico, which is responsible for designing, developing, operating and marketing of the Red Compartida. This financing will allow Altán Redes to continue with the deployment of the shared network and the Internet for all program.
