BAM PPP PGGM Infrastructure Coöperatie U.A., the joint venture of Royal BAM Group's PPP subsidiary and Dutch pension fund PGGM, has closed the refinancing of two Irish PPP projects, the Schools Bundle 3 project and the N11 motorway project.

Both projects are brownfield availability-based PPP projects with a track record of solid operations. The refinancing transactions were supported by the projects' existing lenders, Bank of Ireland and European Investment Bank (EIB).

BAM PPP PGGM was advised by Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. These transactions follow the successful refinancing of five other PPP projects in Switzerland and the Netherlands by BAM-PGGM, where Rubicon also acted as a financial advisor to the respective concessionary company and their shareholders.
