The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning of Bahrain has issued a tender for general repair works at Al Busaiteen Primary Girls School and Al Busaiteen Primary Boys School in Bahrain.

The 5-year contract involves both construction and technical work, such as interior and exterior painting, crack repair, ceiling and floor repair, door, window repair and replacement, toilet repair, as well as mechanical work such as plumbing, water tank replacement and electrical work such as additional power plant, replacement of switchboards and lighting.

The following bidders submitted their bids:

1. Al Hafeera Contracting Company - with bid value of BHD427.3 million (US$1.1 million);

2. Zaedon building construction W.L.L - BHD462.1 million (US$1.2 million);

3. MOHAMMED SAIF AJLAN ALMANNAI CONTRACTING CO.W.L.L - BHD419.1 million (US$1.2 million);

4. Dadabhai Construction - BHD489.1 million (US$1.2 million);

5. ALMOAYYED CONTRACTING. W.L.L. - BHD439 million (US$1.2 million);

6. Saraya Contractors Co. WLL. - BHD529.4 million (US$1.3 million);

7. DAR AL KHALEEJ TRADING & CONTRACTING W.L.L - BHD401.3 million (US$1 million).
