Azora has launched a pan-European private equity fund, which will have a decarbonization theme around lower and mid-market businesses.
Azora European Climate Solutions Fund aims to decarbonize small and medium-sized businesses. The fund's strategy will focus on urban solutions, energy solutions and sustainable agriculture. Azora will provide capital and offer portfolio companies the opportunity to act as preferred providers for their portfolio and CBRE's European portfolio. Azora manages assets worth about EUR6.5 billion (US$7.1 billion). The company plans to invest EUR250 million (US$276 million) in capital commitments of 10-12 portfolio companies with an average "ticket size" in the range of EUR10 to 40 million.
CBRE acts as Azora's strategic advisor and helps identify opportunities.
