Government of Cavite in the Philippines has cancelled the concession awarded to China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) led consortium for the development of Sangley Point International Airport. The consortium consisted of MacroAsia and CCCC. The authority cancelled the negotiations with the concessionaire after failing to comply with the submission of requirements for the conclusion of the Joint Venture Agreement.
The authority is planning to start over the contracting process in October 2021.
