The government of Northern Territory (NT), a federal Australian territory spanning the central and central northern regions of Australia, has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOIs) for the construction and operation of a purpose-built accommodation village in the Darwin Rural area.
The village will house senior citizens who are able to live independently, as opposed to aged care accommodation.
This RFEOI marks the commencement of a two-stage competitive process to facilitate the private sector delivery of the project. Stage one is to raise awareness of the opportunity and to seek EOIs from interested parties.
At the conclusion of the EOI stage, a short list of suitable qualified Proponents may be invited to participate in the request for detailed proposals (RFDP). The Territory, at its sole discretion, will determine whether it will progress the RFDP and, if it decides to, identify parties invited to participate in the RFDP.
EOI registration closes on 30 November 2018, while the actual submission deadline is 14 December. For more information, see the Business Opportunity.
