Australian Government seeks board members for Infrastructure WA

The government of Western Australia has announced an expression of interest (EOI) seeking board members for the Infrastructure WA. Infrastructure WA is a statutory authority which will provide independent advice to the Government on matters relating to infrastructure and support the objectives of the Infrastructure Western Australia Bill 2019. The objectives of the bill are to provide advice and assistance to the Government on matters relating to infrastructure; to assist in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure planning and coordination; and to promote the adoption and use of policies, practices, information, and analysis to support sound decision-making in relation to infrastructure.

Infrastructure WA will have a board comprised of both public and private sector representatives. Appointment terms may vary among board members. The candidate seeking position should have significant experience in one or more of the areas of infrastructure policy, planning, strategy, funding, financing or delivery at a senior executive level, and have significant board and governance experience.

The deadline to submit the electronic application is May 31, 2019.
