Zurich Airport concessionaire has won the auction for a terminal of the São Gonçalo do Amarante Airport in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
The auction for Natal Airport yielded a total of BRL320 million (US$67 million). The São Gonçalo do Amarante Airport auction took place in Natal, with the participation of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and B3 in São Paulo. The event was attended by authorities, representatives from Inframérica, and the Secretary of Civil Aviation. The main purpose of the auction was to select the most beneficial proposal, considering the highest initial contribution offered for the expansion, maintenance, and operation of the airport over a 30-year period. The minimum bid was established at R$226.9 million (US$47.5 million).
