The Government of Rio Grande do Sul has issued a public notice for the privatization of Companhia Estadual de Energia Elétrica (CEEE), a distribution company in Brazil.
The minimum purchase price of the company is BRL836.59 million (US$148.52 million). The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) is responsible for preparing studies and modeling the privatization project.
The CEEE owns two generating plants, five hydroelectric plants, and eight smaller hydroelectric plants. The auction is going to be held on July 29, 2022 on B3, the São Paulo stock exchange.
