Auction Notice issued for concession of multimillion Biological Park in Brazil
The State of Rio Grande do Sul has issued a public notice for the concession of the Botanical Garden of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
The Botanical Garden has an area of 50 ha located in a Natural Park area, which consists of an environment in which exceptional attributes of nature are intended to be protected, combining the full protection of flora, fauna and natural beauty with the use for educational, leisure and recreation purposes. The park is operational since 1958.
The winning party will be responsible for the management, revitalization, modernization and implementation of new services in the park. The project was modeled by the Fábrica de Projetos of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and has an estimated investment of BRL247 million (US$47.53 million).
The auction is going to be held on December 8, 2022, in Porto Alegre.
