The Ministry of Development and Investments has announced the auction for the Minagiotiko dam irrigation network public-private partnership (PPP) project in Messinia, Greece.
The auction for the selection of the company responsible for managing the project will be held on December 5, 2022 and after there will be phase B, which includes the submission of binding proposals. The value of the contract for the project is EUR145.08 million (US$ 143.26 million) with VAT, the amount without VAT is EUR117 million (US$115 million) and the cost of financing from the Construction Recovery Fund is EUR29.55 million (US$29.18 million).
The project involves the development of the Minagiotiko dam and irrigation network in areas of the Municipality of Pylos - Nestoros in Messinia, Greece. The estimated completion time of the project is the end of 2025, the contract period is 22-25 years.
