Astra Infra, a unit of Astra International, in partnership with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, has offered about US$500 million to the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund, Khazanah Nasional, for the 55% stake acquisition in the Indonesian toll-road operator, Lintas Marga Sedaya.
Lintas Marga Sedaya is the operator and the current concession holder of a 117 km toll road that connects Jakarta to Cirebon in the western part of the Java island.
Khazanah owns 55% in Lintas Marga Sedaya while the remaining stakes are controlled by Astra Infra.
