The State of Qatar through the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) for the development of an Al Wakra & Al Wukair waste treatment facility in Doha under the Build, Operate, and Transfer (BOT) of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme for 25-year concession term.
The project can accommodate up to 150,000 cubic meters of sewage per day. It includes provision of a terminal Terminal Pump Station, Wakra Sewage Treatment Works and
Treated Sewage Effluent management facilities to produce high-quality Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) and to produce treated sludge that can be disposed of in a landfill, used as fertilizer, or incinerated as needed.
The deadline for the submission of documents is on April 7, 2019.
