Toob has announced that it secured GBP300 million (US$370 million) in funding to support its continued expansion across South England.
The company has been expanding its gigabit broadband service to various areas including Southampton, Camberley, Aldershot, Farnborough, Fareham, and Gosport. To support its future growth prospects, Toob has successfully secured over GBP160 million (US$ 197 million) of additional funding through Ares Management's Infrastructure Debt strategy. This funding can be increased to GBP300 million (US$370 million) in the future, enabling Toob to capitalize on future growth opportunities.
Toob aims to transform the broadband landscape by delivering gigabit-speed internet connections to residential and business customers. The company utilizes a full-fiber network, deploying its own infrastructure to ensure high-quality and fast connectivity. Its services offer symmetrical upload and download speeds, enabling seamless streaming, gaming, and data-intensive activities.
