Ardian to acquire 60% stake in Assist Digital

Ardian, a private investment house, has announced the acquisition of a 60% stake in Assist Digital. 

After the acquisition, Assist Digital will hold 40% of the company alongside Ardian. Progressio SGR, which has invested in Assist Digital, will sell its minority stake. The management team and BNL/Bnp Paribas will reinvest together with Ardian. The transaction will accelerate Assist Digital's international expansion strategy, which will include mergers and acquisitions, and benefit from Ardian's extensive network of contacts. Ardian will support Assist Digital by continuing to invest in innovation and technology. Ardian will provide strategic and financial support to strengthen Assist Digital's presence in Europe.

Assist Digital serves more than 100 major customers, including well-known brands such as ENI, Stellantis, Toyota, Luxottica, Vodafone and DAZN, and in 2022 the company's turnover exceeded EUR165 million (US$204 million). Assist Digital plans to reach over EUR200 million (US$247 million) by the end of 2023.
