APA to acquire Basslink from Keppel Infrastructure Trust

APA Group (APA) has announced that it has submitted a confidential, conditional, and incomplete proposal to Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT) regarding the potential acquisition of Basslink Pty Limited (Basslink). 

Basslink owns and operates a 370 km high voltage, direct current (HVDC) electricity interconnector between Victoria and Tasmania in Australia.

Discussions are ongoing and incomplete as well as no definitive agreement has been reached between the parties in relation to any transaction. There is no certainty at this time that the discussions will result in an acquisition.
