National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) and the Government of Cundinamarca in Colombia has announced to launch social and environmental management studies for the Cartagenita variant road project. The project involves development of 1.7 km of a dual carriageway in Cartagenita as well as 1.8 km of dual carriageway which will facilitate connection to urban center of the municipality of Facatativá.
Along with the studies and design phase, the authorities had also started the acquisition process for the project. The studies are expected to cost COP13.99 billion (US$3.47 million) with aims to provide solution to decongest Sabana de Occidente.
The Medellin city has held two webinars with more than 160 entrepreneurs from countries in order to explain the technical, legal and financial details of the Medellin Metro de la 80 LRT PPP project....
