The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) managed and supervised the disbursement between July 2024 and January 2025 of a total of US$ 903.5 million in consideration generated by the concession contract for Bogotá's El Dorado International Airport, which represents 46.16% of the gross income generated during that year.
Of that total, US$ 722.8 million, that is, 80%, was disbursed to Civil Aeronautics and the remaining 20%, US$ 180.7 million, was allocated to the municipalities where the airport infrastructure is located, of which US$ 137.5 million corresponded to Bogotá and US$ 43.1 million to the municipality of Funza.
The compensation corresponds to the income generated by the El Dorado airport, derived from the commercial use made by the concessions, generated by passenger traffic at the national and international levels, and is part of the commitment of the National Development Plan of the National Government to strengthen the territories, their infrastructure and transportation systems, at the service of air connectivity.
