The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has opened the process of awarding the Supervision that will supervise the reconstruction, modernization, and operation of the Gustavo Rojas Pinilla airport on San Andrés Island, Colombia.
The winning supervisor will carry out, the monitoring of technical, economic, financial, accounting, legal, social, property, environmental, network, administrative, insurance, risk, operational, maintenance, security, and quality management aspects of the infrastructure. At the Gustavo Rojas Pinilla Airport in San Andrés, the supervision will oversee the construction of the new 13,500 m2 passenger terminal, the new boarding bridges, the new buildings for airport medical services, rescue and firefighting services, a new cargo terminal, as well as public urban areas in front of the new passenger terminal.
San Andrés Island is one of the most important tourist destinations in the country. Gustavo Rojas Pinilla Airport handled 2,092,375 passengers in 2023. Currently, ANI is in charge of 16 concessioned air terminals with maintenance and operation activities, which guaranteed the service of 79.2 million passengers in 2023.
