ANI announces Tunja - Moniquirá - Barbosa road corridor PPP

The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) in Colombia has announced the rehabilitation, maintenance, and operation of  Tunja - Moniquirá - Barbosa PPP project. The 68.9 km long road corridor will connect Boyaca and Santander states. The works also involve the improvement of 7 kilometers of the road that passes through the municipality of Cómbita which connects the national roads Briceño - Tunja - Sogamoso, and Tunja - Moniquirá - Barbosa.

The scope of works also includes the treatment of unstable sites such as the area of ​​the Castle, La Cascada; access to the municipality of Togüí, Matecaña, among others; as well as the intervention of vehicular bridges. Two road exchangers will be built, one of them will connect the corridor with the Briceño - Tunja - Sogamoso concession.

The project was proposed by Promesa de Sociedad Futura Concesionaria TMB S.A.S and is in the feasibility stage now. 

The concession period for the project will be 30 years.
