The National Assembly of Angola has approved a Bill that concerns the implementation of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the country.
The Bill is intended to accelerate the development process of PPPs and better adapt the partnership system to the current economic reality of Angola. It aims to incentivise prospective private partners to enter into partnerships with government bodies, seen as promoting the economic development of the country.
The Bill was passed with 180-43 votes with five abstentions. It will now be analyzed by special commissions.
