Ancala Partners (Ancala) has announced its acquisition of a 75% stake in Fjord Base Holding Group (Fjord Base).
Fjord Base is run by founding partners Semi AS and the WIS Group. In order to jointly operate and develop the base in the future, Semi AS has maintained a strategic interest. By providing infrastructure services to floating offshore wind farms and investing in hydrogen, ammonia and aquaculture activities, Ancala's partnership with Fjord Base has allowed the company to expand and play a significant role in the region's energy transformation.
Located on Norway's western coast in Florø, Fjord Base is the country's biggest supply base in terms of area. Annually, it manages 2,000 ships and 400 kilotons of cargo over the quay.
