AMEA Power starts construction of 50 MW Mohamed Bin Zayed solar PV project in Blitta

AMEA Power has started the construction of the 50 MW Mohamed Bin Zayed solar photovoltaic project in Togo. 

AMEA Power will develop the project in the prefecture of Blitta in Central Togo under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The output of the solar plant will be sold to the national electricity grid and distributed by the Electric Power Company of Togo (CEET).

The project will be implemented in two phases with the first phase of 30 MW.
