Almar Water Solutions has completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in Aguas San Pedro.

Aguas San Pedro SA is a Chilean operator for drinking water production and distribution, sewerage and wastewater treatment services, located across eight municipalities and four regions of Chile, including Biobío, Maule, Los Lagos and Metropolitan regions. The company provides services to more than 39,000 customers and serves more than 150,000 local inhabitants. 

Almar Water Solutions is a non-conventional water infrastructure developer and is a part of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy. The company specializes in developing, promoting, financing, designing and operating water infrastructures from seawater and brackish water desalination to reuse, purification, wastewater treatment and distribution networks. This acquisition further strengthens Almar's presence in Latin America, following the acquisitions of Osmoflo SpA in 2019 and 50% of Aguas y Riles S.A. in 2021 in the industrial water market, which are now operating as Almar Water Services Latam after the merger.
