Alberta Transportation has announced the cancellation of the public-private partnership (PPP) procurement process for the upgrade and rehabilitation of the Deerfoot Trail project in Alberta, Canada.
The authority is now considering procuring the project works via engaging improvements in smaller parts, as it concluded that procuring the project of PPP concession is not economically viable in current conditions due to price volatility and high inflation.
