The energy ministry of Albania has selected joint venture BE-IS & EL-PROM to construct and operate a hydroelectric power plant near Dibra, in the north-east of the country. BE-IS & EL-PROM will sign a 35-year concession contract.
To be constructed within eight months of commercial close, the plant will have an installed capacity of 13,917 kW and will generate up to 47.2 GWh of electricity per year.
The ministry disclosed that two other bidders participated in the tender.
