Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has announced the evaluation completion of the submitted proposals by the Bidders for the Al-Haer Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) Project in Saudi Arabia.
The project incorporates a Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) re-use system, which comprises a 32 km transmission pipeline capable of holding 400,000 m3, a pumping station, and TSE reservoir tanks with a capacity of 200,000 m3. The aim is to achieve commercial operation by the Q3 of 2026. Consequently, SWPC is releasing the names of the Preferred Bidder and Reserved Bidder, along with their corresponding Levelized Treatment Charges. The Miahona and BESIX Consortium is the Preferred bidder and the Acciona and TAWZEA Consortium is the Reserved Bidder for the Al-Haer ISTP Project.
