Perusahaan Listrik Negara in Indonesia has secured US$ 310 million in funding from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) for power distribution infrastructure PPP concession in East Java and Bali. Under the concession, 17,000 km distribution lines and the installation of distribution transformers will be constructed in East Java and Bali. The project aims to increase access and improve the quality of power distribution through infrastructure development.
The total investment value for the project is US$ 1.20 billion, out of which AIIB will provide US$ 310 million.
