Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx have signed a Project Alliance Agreement with OnTrack Alliance to deliver the Union Station Enhancement Project in Canada.
The ONTrack Alliance team is formed by Kiewit – Alberici Union General Partnership as constructors, WSP Canada Inc. as designer and Mass. Electric Construction Canada Co. is responsible for signaling work. The consortium is expected to deliver the project with the target cost of CAD562 million (US$442.98 million). The construction of the project is expected to begin in early 2022 and be completed in 2025.
The project involves the construction of a new platform and the development of a new concourse area below the platform of the major transit hub in Toronto. ONTrack Alliance will be responsible for the design, development, schedule and cost of the Union Station Enhancement Project.
