Agreement signed for Construction of Trans Papua Road Jayapura-Wamena Section

PT Hutama Mambelim Trans Papua (HMTP), the Implementing Business Entity (BUP) formed by the Consortium between PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya) and PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) signed the Government Cooperation Agreement with Business Entities (KPBU) for the Construction of the Trans Papua Road, Jayapura-Wamena Section, Mamberamo-Elelim Segment in South Jakarta, Indonesia.

The construction of land transportation routes in Papua aims to connect Jayapura and Wamena City. HMTP will handle the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintenance, and Transfer (DBFOMT) with a 15-year concession period, including 2 years for construction and 13 years for maintenance and operation. The project focuses on the 50.14 km Mamberamo-Ekelim segment of the Trans-Papua road, including slope management and road maintenance.
