Ontario Teachers' has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Sevana Bioenergy LLC.
This partnership helps to accelerate Ontario Teachers' efforts to develop advanced digester facilities that produce Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and electricity for transportation fuel, EV charging and other forms of energy. The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan's most recent investment, Sevana, will help the organization get closer to its goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050.
