Amundi has signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of Alpha Associates.

Established in 2004, Alpha Associates specializes in multi-manager investment solutions in private markets and currently oversees EUR 8.5 billion (US$ 9.2 billion) in assets. The firm offers funds-of-funds expertise in private debt, infrastructure, and private equity, catering to over 100 institutional investors in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. The acquisition aims to integrate Alpha Associates' capabilities with Amundi's existing private markets multi-manager setup, featuring a dedicated team with over two decades of experience. Currently managing EUR 12 billion (US$ 13 billion) in assets for institutional clients, primarily in France, Italy, and Spain, Amundi anticipates completing the transaction by Q3 of 2024.
