Agilitas Private Equity (Agilitas), a pan-European mid-market private equity firm, has announced to sell Denmark-based environmental services specialist the Reconor Group (Reconor) to a fund advised by Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLP (Basalt).

Reconor assists its clients in meeting Denmark's stringent requirements for responsible and ecologically sound recycling. Additionally, the company collaborates with municipalities for effective waste collection. Reconor's core mission revolves around curbing waste generation through material prevention, reduction, and reuse while applying circular economy concepts to minimize natural resource usage. The company annually addresses more than 2.1 million tonnes of soil and manages around 0.8 million tonnes of predominantly reusable waste. Their daily operations span across Denmark, involving 230 trucks and 31,000 containers. The majority of the waste processed is recycled for further use in secondary markets.
