Aegea Saneamento e Participações SA (Aegea), the project owner of the Teresina waterworks concession in Brazil, has proposed fourth sustainable debenture issue of Águas de Teresina Saneamento SPE SA (Águas de Teresina).
The issue is for BRL600 million (US$118.02 million) and it has received AA rating from Fitch Ratings. The issue has a planned final maturity in 2037.
Águas de Teresina, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aegea, has been operating a water and sewage sub-concession in the municipality of Teresina since 2017. The concession period for the project is 30 years.
