Transport Infrastructure Ireland has issued two notices inviting Operations Advisor and Concept Architect for the Swords Sandyford metro project in Dublin.
The operations advisor will provide robust advice on a Grade of Automation Level 4 (GoA4) Metro rail Project. The deadline to submit the interest is September 23, 2019. The estimated tender value for operations advisors is EUR 6 million. (US$ 6.66 million).
The Architect will provide the following services to the authority:
The tender value for architect services is EUR 2.5 million (US$ 2.8 million). The deadline to submit the response to the notice is September 6, 2019.
The MetroLink Project is the development of a north-south urban railway service that will run between Swords and Charlemont, linking Dublin Airport, Irish Rail, DART, Dublin Bus and Luas Services, creating fully integrated public transport along the 19km route. There will be a total of 15 new stations, 3000 additional parks and ride spaces and a journey time of approximately 25 minutes from Swords to the city centre.
