The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has been appointed as a transaction advisor to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the Ministry of Economy and Finance to support the delivery of high-quality preschool education via public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya and Tashkent regions in Uzbekistan.
The ADB is already offering advisory services for the development of 100 preschools in the Samarkand region. Across all five regions, ADB's transaction advisory assistance aims to establish up to 500 preschools nationwide, with approximately 100 in each region, benefiting up to 75,000 students.
