Actis has acquired 11 data centers across 6 Latin American countries and the US from Spanish data center operator Nabiax.
At close, Actis will be the new owners of the data centers in the Americas, based in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and a small exposure in the US (Florida). The 11 locations have a combined IT load capacity of 23 MW with the potential to expand. This transaction is Actis’ 7th investment in the digital infrastructure industry and complements Actis’ five existing data center platforms in Asia and Africa.
Actis’ expertise in the energy sector helps to increase the use of renewable energy powering data centers.
