According to different Indian newspapers 15 firms have submitted qualifications documents for the project. Among the 15 developers, the list includes Cochin International Airport Limited, Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited, Reliance Infrastructure Limited, SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited, GMR Infrastructure. IL&FS Infrastructure, the advisor to the government, is evaluating the technical bids and once this is done the qualified firms will be invited to submit financial bids
