Abrdn and Bestinver acquired highway PPP in Uruguay

Abrdn and Bestinver have acquired a 100% stake in the Circuito Vial 3 PPP contract from Copasa and Espina for EUR 213 million (US$ 233 million) in Uruguay. 

The Circuito Vial 3 is a road infrastructure project that spans 292 km, and it is a part of the national road network called Route 14. The project covers multiple departments, including Soriano, Flores, Durazno, and Florida. Copasa and Espina have sold their entire stake (100%) in Circuito Vial 3 and its operating company (Hareson Investments) to a consortium consisting of Abrdn and Bestinver, with BBVA serving as the financial advisor for the transaction.
