Aboitiz InfraCapital secured O&M Contract for US$225 million International Airport project in Philippines
Aboitiz InfraCapital has secured the operations and maintenance contract for Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental.
The airport will have a capacity of 1.6 million passengers a year, increasing to 3.9 million by the end of the first phase and to 6.1 million by the end of the second phase. The contract for the Laguindingan Airport will run for 35 years.
The agreement, awarded by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, covers a 15-year period, during which Aboitiz InfraCapital will enhance the airport's services, facilities, and infrastructure. The company plans to improve passenger experience, modernize airport systems, and support regional economic growth by expanding connectivity. This contract is part of Aboitiz InfraCapital's broader strategy to boost country airport infrastructure and attract more investments to the region.
