Eastern Economic Corridor board agreed to reject the proposal for The Expansion of U-Tapao Airport and Eastern Aviation City PPP project submitted by the joint venture group Thanhon Holding Company Limited led by the Charoen Pokphand Group of Companies (CP) and the partner. The decision of the board is based on the fact that the bidder has submitted the proposal after the deadline. The bidder has filed an appeal to the Central Administrative Court. The EEC is waiting for the court decision on the petition. The Administrative Court is expected to comment soon.
While the EEC waits for the court decision, the selection process and opening of the envelopes will continue and it is expected to be completed in 1 month.
