The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) has announced 98% completion for the rehabilitation works on the 89 km Santa Rosa del Aguaray – Antequera section of PY11 route in Paraguay. 

The current works include asphalt regularization in the urban area of ​​Santa Rosa del Aguaray and in the Bus Terminal, cleaning of domain strip and layering concrete with polymer on December 25 street in San Pedro de Ycuamandiyú.

The asphalt rehabilitation will allow to streamline cargo transportation, benefiting approximately 45,000 people living in the vicinity of the route. The contract is for 84 months, out of which 20 are for rehabilitation and 64 months are for maintenance. 

The company responsible for the rehabilitation is César Daniel Delgado Construcciones S.A. (CDD Construcciones S.A.). The project investment value is PYG140.5 billion (US$20 million).
