The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) of Paraguay has achieved 60% work progress for the US$136 million Heroes del Chaco bridge concession.
The bridge infrastructure is expected to be operational by April 2023. Once complete, it will connect Asunción to Chaco’i via 600 m cable-stay bridge. The project will also see the development of a 4.8 km long access road providing connection to the Falcón-Remanso route, 1,500 m of access viaduct on the right bank (Chaco'i), and 500 m of access viaduct on the left bank (Costanera Norte).
The consortium, made up of CDD Construcciones and Constructora Heisecke, is responsible for the concession.
