The Ministry of Public Works and Communications in Paraguay has announced 50% progress for the construction of the Avenida Costanera Sur de Asunción road public-private partnership (PPP) project.
The project involves the development of the 7.6 km Costanera Sur Avenue in Paraguay. The road will have a double lane, sidewalks and a bike path along the Bañado Sur, from Avda. Colón to Cerro Lambaré. The project also includes the construction of three bridges: a 180-m bridge, an 80-m bridge, located at the mouth of the Yukyty stream, and a 30-m bridge, located at the secondary mouth of the Lambaré stream.
The consortium responsible for the implementation of the project comprises the Spanish Eurofinsa SA and the Paraguayan T&C. The project investment value is US$132 million.
