The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) closed the call for those interested in participating in the audit of the Rafael Núñez Airport IP project in Cartagena, Colombia.
A total of 36 bids were submitted for the upcoming award process scheduled for completion in January 2024. This audit, valued at approximately COP24 billion (USD6 million), is crucial for overseeing the significant contract associated with expanding and operating the vital air terminal, essential for tourism generation. The audit's objective is to monitor various aspects of the contract, including technical, economic, financial, accounting, legal, social, property, environmental, network, administrative, insurance, risk, operational, maintenance, security, and quality management. The Cartagena airport works to be supervised by this audit encompass the construction of a new 17,360 m2 terminal building and the remodeling of 2,814 m2 of the existing terminal, totaling 22 interventions. Additional tasks include maintenance of the control tower and Aerocivil offices, locative repairs, and comprehensive interventions such as the expansion of the commercial platform, development of parking areas, installation of boarding bridges, and construction of a parallel runway road to optimize operations.
