Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HRIDC) has announced that Ten firms have bid to construct 21.14 km Package C-5 of the 121.7 km Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) project in Haryana, India.
This segment of Haryana's inaugural semi-high-speed railway will incorporate a 3.9 km viaduct situated near the Aravalis, to the east of tunnel Package C-4, secured by Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) in March 2023. The project encompasses an at-grade section and involves the establishment of IMT Sohna Station, Silani Station, and New Pirthala Station. The Dadri-Rewari section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) will intersect with HORC's Package C-5.
