Zambia tenders road PPP project

The Road Development Agency (RDA) of Zambia has launched the Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI) for the the financing and upgrading of Kasomeno - Kasenga - Chalwe - Mwenda Road Project (182 km) through PPP.

The gonvernment intends to attract private investment in infrastructure development in Zambia and implement PPPs for public infrastructure.

The project contemplates the implementation of dual carriageway in the Kasomeno - Kasenga - Chalwe - Mwenda Road Project  in order to accommodate the rising traffic levels.

 The solicits for financially and technically competent prospective concessionaires to Finance, Design, Construct, Operate, Maintain and Toll the proposed road project. 

The deadline for interested firms is on or before February 14, 2017.
